Because working with different types of data requires unique and innovative solutions, REACH Evaluation’s expertise with multiple statistical packages like STATA, SPSS, Mplus, and ArcGIS allows us to employ a range of statistical and analytic methods including:
- Descriptive statistics to summarize and explore population characteristics;
- Inferential statistics (e.g., regression modeling, factor and cluster analysis, structural equation modeling, time series models) to explain complex relationships between populations and relevant variables;
- Outcomes evaluation to study the end result of health and human services or policies that improve evidence-based practices and decision-making; and
- Geographic information system (e.g., geocoding, spatial cluster detection, and web mapping) to explore regional trends and identify high risk populations
