Prescription pill abuse dropping among Kentucky youth

The KIP Survey administered in Kentucky through the Substance Abuse and Prevention Program was recently featured in The Courier-Journal in Louisville. The article reports… “Between 2008 and 2012, prescription drug abuse dropped from 15.2 percent to 9 percent among seniors, 14.1 percent to 7.6 percent among sophomores, 6.5 percent to 2.9 percent among eighth-graders and 2 percent to less than 1 percent among sixth-graders.”
